A man lost his life in a fire in an apartment in Bucharest, Sector 4. His wife and son were rescued.

The fire broke out last night on the sixth floor of a block of flats and was noticed by the man's neighbors, who called the fire brigade. They were sickened by the smoke and taken to hospital. Firefighters evacuated 6 people because of the heavy flames, while 25 others evacuated themselves. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
