The National Meteorological Administration has issued a code red heat wave for several counties, including Bucharest, with temperatures reaching 41 degrees. The authorities are warning people to avoid traveling and physical exertion outdoors. While the heat wave will continue, the most vulnerable are children, pregnant women and the elderly, who need to be alert to symptoms of heatstroke. Keep hydrated and wear appropriate clothing.
