<p>The Prosecutor General's Office is considering expanding the investigation into Călin Georgescu after he quoted from legionary leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu on Realitatea TV. Georgescu is already under judicial control with a ban on legionary propaganda. The prosecutor in the case, Marius Iacob, is checking whether the statements constitute a new criminal act. George Simion, present on the program, approved the citation. The Legionary Movement is considered a criminal group responsible for political assassinations and pogroms in the inter-war period.
