An explosive projectile of 100 mm caliber was found on Wednesday in the locality of Mihai Bravu, during the rehabilitation works of the railway embankment Bucharest-Giurgiu.

The Giurgiu Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) was requested to intervene, and the bomb disposal experts confirmed the dangerous nature of the object. The projectile was retrieved and will be destroyed under safe conditions. This is the ninth discovery of this type in Giurgiu County since the beginning of the year, with other projectiles found in various localities, including Schitu and Naipu.

The authorities continue to monitor the situation to prevent any potential accidents.
