On Sunday morning, firefighters intervened in the municipality of Râmnicu Sărat, on Aleea Aninului, following an explosion, most likely caused by gas accumulations. According to ISU Buzău, approximately 50 residents self-evacuated from the affected building before the intervention teams arrived. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the explosion caused significant material damage, including the dislocation of the door of the apartment where the deflagration occurred. Teams from the Gas Distributor and the Buzău County Police Inspectorate were dispatched to the scene to take the necessary measures. The residents of the building stopped the gas supply until the specialized teams arrived. The intervention was supported by two fire-fighting vehicles, one rescue vehicle, and a qualified first aid crew.
