On Thursday evening, an explosion occurred in an apartment on the first floor of a building in Onești, followed by a fire.

The incident took place on Păcii Street and resulted in the injury of two people, a man and a woman, aged 31, who self-evacuated and suffered burns on approximately two-thirds of their body surface. The ISU Bacău teams responded quickly, sending two fire trucks with water and foam, an SMURD ambulance, and a rescue vehicle for heights. The fire was extinguished quickly, and the structural integrity of the building was not affected, so the evacuation of the residents was not necessary. The injured were transported to the hospital for medical care.
