An explosion followed by a fire occurred in a household in Prundeni, Vâlcea, causing severe burns to two men. The military firefighters from the Drăgășani Fire Department responded quickly, ensuring fire prevention and extinguishing measures, as well as medical first aid.

A man approximately 30 years old suffered first and second degree burns on 30% of his body and was transported to the Craiova County Emergency Clinical Hospital. The second man, aged 56, suffered burns on 10-15% of his body and was taken to the Slatina County Emergency Clinical Hospital. Additionally, a SMURD helicopter from Dolj was requested for further assistance.
