Eugen Rădulescu stated that Romanians will go through a confusing and discontented period, not only due to austerity measures but also because of the perception that not everyone is contributing to these efforts. He emphasized that those most affected are those with modest financial situations. Rădulescu estimated that things could start to improve in the second half of 2026, once the budget deficit is reduced and the pressure on interest rates decreases.
