The driver, a 35-year-old Romanian, could not present the necessary documents for the import of this waste, which raised suspicions regarding the legality of the transport. Following checks carried out with the support of the National Environmental Guard, it was found that the truck was transporting 16,980 kilograms of waste, and due to the lack of legal documentation, the authorities prohibited its access to the territory of Romania.
