The Minister of Energy stated that an increase in the pump price of more than 3-5 bani is not justified at present, dismissing speculations about prices of 10 lei for diesel or gasoline as unfounded. He emphasized that there are no rational or economic arguments for such an increase. Additionally, the minister assured that the state is on alert and is working to maintain price stability, having national and emergency reserves prepared to intervene in exceptional situations. Ivan ruled out the scenario of a 30% price increase, aiming to eliminate panic at the national level.
