A new drone fragment, found on Friday in Costinești, near the area where a drone was discovered a day earlier. Access for tourists has been restricted.

The authorities have been informed about the discovery of a drone fragment in the resort of Costinești, near the place where, 24 hours earlier, a drone had been found. Access for tourists in the area has been restricted until the arrival of specialists to examine and retrieve the fragment, which did not have any explosive charge.

We remind that on Thursday morning, tourists observed an object resembling a drone floating near the shore and alerted the authorities. The Ministry of National Defense was informed about the presence of this fragment, and the Coast Guard requested the intervention of the Romanian Naval Forces to send a team of EOD divers.

After checks, the team confirmed that the fragment does not pose a pyrotechnic risk, and it was handed over to the Coast Guard for further analysis.
