The Ministry of National Defense announced that a drone was discovered on Friday, August 14, in the area of the locality of Plauru, Tulcea County. It was neutralized on August 15 through controlled detonation, carried out by a specialized team, in safe conditions.

The Ministry of National Defense published a short video of the detonation. The drone was found in the context in which, on the same day, another drone had crashed in Tulcea County, in the Măcin Mountains area. This crashed drone was also detonated in a controlled manner. The Ministry of National Defense emphasized the importance of these measures for public safety.
