A drone was found crashed in an agricultural field in the commune of Șerbăuți, Suceava County, 20 km from the border with Ukraine. The Suceava Police Inspectorate is investigating the incident.

On Sunday, at 12:15 PM, a local resident from the Șerbăuți commune reported to the Police about the discovery of a crashed drone on agricultural land. The service crew confirmed the presence of the small flying device, which had no visible markings. The area, located about 20 km from the border with Ukraine, was secured, and additional teams were requested to ensure security.

The Suceava County Police Inspectorate informed the specialized structures, and the investigations are being conducted under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Suceava Court of Appeal, to establish the circumstances of the incident. This discovery comes in the context of a previous situation when fragments from an explosive drone fell in Galați, which led to the evacuation of some people and the securing of the area by the military.
