A drone attack took place on Thursday against a ship under the Panamanian flag in the Black Sea, resulting in the death of one crew member and the injury of two other sailors, one of whom is in serious condition, according to the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP). The incident was confirmed on Friday night, and AMP activated the necessary protocols to obtain official information and maintained communication with the parties involved. Although AMP did not specify the source of the attack, it recommended that ships avoid crossing the territorial waters of Ukraine and Russia. Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba stated that the attack targeted two foreign-flagged vessels, including one under the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, causing injuries to five crew members. Kuleba emphasized that commercial ships and maritime infrastructure are constant targets of attacks.
