The Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) has provided clarifications regarding the housing situation of Minister Dragoș Pîslaru, following the accusations made by PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, according to which he allegedly transferred his properties to benefit from a service apartment from RA-APPS.
The Ministry states that Pîslaru sold the apartment in Bucharest at the end of 2024 and initiated the transfer procedures for the house where his parents live, a property in which he claims he no longer resides.
According to MIPE, after being appointed as minister, Dragoș Pîslaru requested a service apartment in Bucharest from RA-APPS, arguing, including through photographs, that he cannot live together with his parents, aged 83 and 88, due to the configuration of the housing and their health condition. Initially, the request was not approved until the legal situation of the property was clarified, and later, after the completion of notarial and cadastral procedures, RA-APPS approved the request, according to the ministry.
MIPE states that the procedure complied with legal provisions and asserts that the information that has emerged in the public space misrepresents the situation. The Ministry specifies that "there is nothing hidden or unclear" regarding the housing situation of the minister, and Dragoș Pîslaru has announced that he reserves the right to take legal action against those who, in his opinion, have made "slanderous" accusations.
