The interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, announced that Viorel Păca's activity was conducted outside the law, without the involvement of specialists, and this was known by state institutions.

Following the DIICOT intervention on June 30, the Ministry of Labor was not informed in advance about the evacuation of over 400 vulnerable individuals. Pîslaru initiated inter-institutional coordination for their relocation, mobilizing institutions from 20 counties. In total, 409 individuals were relocated, of which 394 are in social assistance centers, and 15 are hospitalized.

The minister declared a state of emergency and initiated a government decision for the allocation of financial resources. Additionally, a call center for relatives was created, which received 40 calls.

Pîslaru emphasized the state's inability to protect vulnerable individuals and promised that he would continue to work with professionalism despite his interim mandate.
