In an interview for Antena 3 CNN, the president of USR, Dominic Fritz, stated that December 7 would be suitable for the elections in Bucharest.

Fritz expressed joy that Bucharest residents will have the opportunity to choose their mayor again, emphasizing that USR is not afraid of elections and has a strong candidate, Cătălin Drulă, who shares the vision of president Nicușor Dan.

He also rejected the idea of a common candidate for the coalition, stating that it is not fair to impose conditions in this context.

Regarding the governing coalition, Fritz acknowledged that the relationship is not ideal, describing it as a "marriage without love".
