The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning regarding a clone of the Ghișeul.ro platform, created by cybercriminals to steal personal data and banking information from users.

Experts emphasize the importance of verifying the website address, which must be www.ghiseul.ro, any difference indicating a possible fraud. Users are advised to access the platform only by manually entering the address in the browser, avoiding links received via SMS, email, or social networks.

Other warning signs include requests for unusual information, such as the card's PIN code. DNSC recommends checking the secure connection (https), but warns that the padlock in the browser does not guarantee the authenticity of the site.

If users have entered data on a fake site, it is essential to contact the bank to block the card and report the incident to DNSC.
