The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning regarding new attempts at online fraud, in which attackers imitate the visual identity of institutions such as Interpol, Europol, the Romanian Police, and ANAF. The scammers create messages that appear credible and intimidating, accusing victims of serious offenses and imposing short response deadlines to induce panic.

DNSC recommends that users be cautious, analyze the messages received, verify the sender's address, and avoid accessing suspicious links or attachments. In the event that someone has already provided personal data, it is essential to contact the bank, the police, and DNSC to take swift action.
