The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) has launched searches at the Sector 5 City Hall and the Local Police, considering accusations of bribery and influence peddling. Iulia Cîrlogeanu, the city manager of the city hall, and its architect are the main targets in a case investigating corruption acts.

These actions come in the context of a recent raid by the DNA at the Sector 3 City Hall, where Robert Negoiță was placed under judicial control with a bail of 800,000 lei.
