The former Russian Deputy Prime Minister and former head of Roskosmos, Senator Dmitry Rogozin, published on his Telegram account a comment in which he threatens Romania, but also mocks it, quoting an article that states that "the Romanian Ministry of National Defense condemns the irresponsible actions of Russia," after a Russian drone hit a building in Galați, injuring two people.

Rogozin ridiculed Romania for the "permeability" of its air defense, despite having a defense system that meets NATO standards, while accusing the Romanian state of being involved in the war in Ukraine since it has directly supplied weapons to Kyiv.

"I have two questions for Romanians:

1. How is it that your air defense has managed to miss not a swarm, but just a stray drone? Are you always that vulnerable? Allow me to remind you that the American strategic missile defense project is being developed on Romanian territory. The air defense system includes F-16 aircraft, radar systems, and anti-aircraft missile systems - all in accordance with NATO standards. Vulnerable ...

2. Don't you think that, through the transit and direct deliveries of weapons and ammunition to Kyiv, you have long dragged yourselves into war, so that your astonishment at the drone arriving seems the height of hypocrisy? Stay tuned, Romanians..." wrote Dmitry Rogozin on Telegram.

Rogozin's post was initially reported by journalist Vitalie Cojocari on his Facebook page.

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced on Friday that in the Supreme Council of National Defense (CSAT) it will be proposed to adopt sanctions against Russian diplomats, after a Russian drone hit a building in Galați.
