Distrigaz Sud Rețele has announced that it will not charge for the reinstatement of customers in the event of a natural gas supply interruption due to technical reasons. Company representatives explained that authorized ANRE economic operators can set tariffs in the free market for the work performed for customers. Distrigaz Sud Rețele only charges fees for gas interruptions caused by non-payment of bills or at the customer's request for changes in the household. In case of emergencies, such as gas leaks, the company is obliged to interrupt the supply for the safety of consumers. After the issues are resolved by an authorized operator, the supply can be resumed. Additionally, following a recent explosion in a block in Rahova, which resulted in the death of three people and the injury of 20, Distrigaz Sud Rețele is collaborating with the authorities to clarify the circumstances of the incident, and ANRE has ordered a check to verify compliance with the legislation by the operator.
