Romanians will be able to travel directly to China, with the inauguration of the Bucharest - Beijing air route.

Romanians will have access to direct flights starting September 4, to the People's Republic of China, due to the inauguration of the air route between Beijing and Bucharest, operated by Air China.

The opening ceremony took place at the Romanian Embassy in China and marked an important moment in bilateral relations.

The new route, which also includes a stopover in Zagreb, will be operated three times a week, contributing to the development of connectivity between the two countries.

The Romanian Ambassador to China, Dan - Horia Maxim, emphasized the importance of this route for promoting tourism, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

Tickets could cost starting from 700 euros, and the flight duration is estimated to be between 9 and 10 hours.
