Ilie Gabriel, known as Gabi Purcel, has been remanded in custody for forming an organized criminal group and other serious crimes. Since 2020, he has recruited and exploited victims, using coercion and the 'loverboy' method to induce them into prostitution. The illegally obtained money was used to purchase goods, including real estate and cars, to hide the illicit origin. The arrest was ordered by the Bucharest Tribunal for 30 days.
