The Prefect of the Capital, Andrei Nistor, stated for Edupedu.ro that the authorities are analyzing the possibility of closing schools and kindergartens in Bucharest and Ilfov due to the red code for torrential rains. A decision is expected to be made during this afternoon, most likely together with the Ilfov Prefecture. "This idea is on the table, but we have not made a decision yet. Personally, I would prefer not to do this, but we must ensure that everyone will be safe," Nistor specified.
