Deputy Dan Tanasă expressed firm opposition to the removal of national symbols, especially the tricolor, from the visual identity of the Romanian Post, an institution with a tradition of over 160 years. Tanasă believes that this change is a disgrace and an offense to the history and values of Romania, especially in the context where other states assert their national identity.
He publicly requested explanations from the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization regarding the reasons and costs of this rebranding, asking who approved this decision and why national symbols were not preserved. Tanasă emphasized that the tricolor is not just a graphic detail, but a symbol of national dignity, and announced that he will address an official parliamentary question to request clarifications and measures to return to a visual identity that reflects the values of Romania.
