The 24-hour race at Nurburgring, held between May 16 and 17, brought together 161 cars, including supercars like Lamborghini and Ferrari. The Dacia Logan, entered by the Ollis Garage Racing team in the SP 3T class, drew attention as an unusual outsider, becoming a symbol of the 2021 competition. With a 165-horsepower engine, the Logan had a time of 12 minutes for the 20.8-kilometer lap, slower than the GT3 models. Despite having a five-position penalty, the team gained notoriety. Dacia was involved in notable accidents but returned to the track. The event also featured Max Verstappen, who had a technical problem, finishing in 38th place. Mercedes won the race, followed by Lamborghini and Aston Martin. Romanian drivers also competed, achieving notable results in their classes.
