The interim Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Cseke Attila, stated in Sibiu that Romania urgently needs a government with full powers to ensure the efficient implementation of investments from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). He emphasized that delays in adopting the necessary normative acts could severely affect projects, including those for the rehabilitation of schools, which depend on a budget of 560 million euros.

Cseke mentioned that he cannot estimate the exact financial losses in the event of an extended governmental crisis, but he stressed the importance of a political agreement among the four parties involved in negotiations to form a new government. He also criticized the ousting of the former Executive through the votes of AUR, considering it a mistake. Currently, the political scene is blocked, awaiting the appointment of a new prime minister, after previous proposals were rejected.
