Cseke Attila, the interim minister of Development, stated that incorrect information has spread in the administrative environment regarding the incompatibilities of local and county councilors. He emphasized that the ministry has prepared a specialized document validated by the National Integrity Agency, which confirms that there is no situation of incompatibility. The incompatibilities of councilors are regulated by a different article than the one mentioned in the erroneous information.

Cseke urged local authorities to verify the information before responding to it. Additionally, USR has requested ANI to publish the list of councilors who simultaneously hold an elected position and a post in public administration, following the new regulations.
