The first meeting of the Supreme Council for Homeland Defense (CSAT) of President Nicușor Dan's mandate will take place on June 30, tackling critical issues. These include the disaster at the flood-hit Praid salt works and the cost analysis for a new salt works. CSAT will also discuss tax evasion as a threat to national security, with the aim of involving intelligence services in support of tax authorities and updating the National Defense Strategy.
