Criminal case opened in Caraș-Severin County after an aggression between minors in the courtyard of a school

On July 31, 2026, the police officers from the 4th Rural Police Station in Mehadia took notice of an incident and began investigations into a criminal case for the offense of assault or other violence.

The incident occurred on July 30, 2026, around 7:00 PM, in the yard of an educational institution in the commune of Cornea, where two minors, aged 11 and 13, assaulted another minor aged 12. The assault consisted of punches and kicks aimed at the victim's face and body. According to the police, the conflict was spontaneous. Authorities continue the investigation under the supervision of the prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Caransebeș Court to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
