The police have opened a criminal case for destruction by arson following a complaint filed by the poet Mircea Dinescu, who reported that a wooden house owned by him in the village of Cetate was set on fire. The incident occurred on the night of April 1 to 2, and the estimated damage amounts to 100,000 euros. On April 17, the officers of the Cetate Rural Police Station No. 9 received the complaint from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Calafat Court, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities continue to investigate to identify the responsible individuals, and the final solution will be determined by the competent prosecutor's office.
