The Ministry of Health announced that the Sanitary Inspection conducted an inspection at a private hospital in Constanța, where a young woman died due to post-natal complications. The hospital was fined 30,000 lei for the lack of analysis reports of self-control samples. The Minister of Health ordered the extension of the inspection and additional checks at the national level for all private health units. A criminal investigation has been opened by the police in this case.
