Vergil Chițac, the mayor of Constanta, said that work on the Farul stadium will start in September, and the City Hall will assume the payment of its own contribution of 65 million lei to avoid delays. This modern stadium, with a seating capacity of 18,500, will include training halls, a conference center and commercial spaces. The project, with a total value of almost €100 million, is being carried out by the Ministry of Development and the National Investment Company.
