Cristian Pistol, the general director of the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR), stated that during his term, 500 kilometers of expressway and highway sections were opened to traffic.

Pistol highlighted his achievements on social media, mentioning that he found a previously negotiated National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) with difficult deadlines, but he managed to sign contracts, secure funding, and pay contractors ahead of schedule. He emphasized the mobilization of teams on A7, where work is intensively underway, including in a three-shift regime.

Cristian Pistol took over the leadership of CNAIR in 2023, having previously held an interim mandate.
