Ciprian Ciucu reacted to the criticisms of Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, regarding chis comments about "red technocrats" in the governmental list of the designated prime minister, Eugen Tomac.
"Mr. Grindeanu says that if I said that some, and I specified exactly which, of the ministers proposed by Mr. Tomac, would be 'red technocrats', meaning PSD members, then I insulted them. I really didn't think about that! Does the president of PSD consider that being a PSD member or affiliated with PSD is an insult? I didn't say it, and I didn't say anything else about these people," Ciucu wrote on Facebook.
In a Facebook post, Grindeanu accused the liberals of anti-PSD behavior, mentioning that they were dismissed by Parliament and continue a "ridiculous game". Ciucu insisted that he did not make any other comments about the proposed ministers and reaffirmed that he did not intend to offend anyone.
