The Mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that Bucharest will benefit from two new hospitals, including the largest Pediatric Psychiatry Clinic in Romania, built in partnership with the Metropolis Foundation. This clinic, with a cost of 16.5 million euros, will treat 5,000 children with mental disorders and is set to be completed in 2027. The mayor emphasized the importance of the public-private partnership in this project. Additionally, another hospital, the Clinical Hospital in Sector 6, will be built on Timișoara Boulevard, featuring 307 beds and modern facilities.

Funding is guaranteed by the European Commission, and all necessary documents have been approved. Ciprian Ciucu stressed the need for safe hospitals, without seismic risks, in Bucharest.
