The incident took place on Wednesday, around 4:50 PM, on Calea Ferentari, when the police signaled the stop of a car that was speeding. The driver, a 40-year-old man, ignored the signal and continued to drive, being pursued by agents until Vigoniei Street, where he abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee on foot, but was caught.

Alcohol and drug tests showed negative results. During the pursuit, the driver drove erratically, colliding with four vehicles, but without causing any casualties. For the offenses committed, he was fined 6,480 lei and his license was suspended for 330 days. The drivers of the other vehicles involved went to the Minor Accidents Office to report the damages.
