Accident in Lugoj, after a traffic chase: A driver pursued by the police lost control of the car and crashed into another vehicle which he projected into a terrace.

A serious accident occurred on the night from Friday to Saturday on a street in Lugoj, when a driver being pursued by the police lost control of the vehicle. The incident took place after the man entered the opposite lane, colliding with a car in which two young women were present. The impact was so strong that the car of the two was projected onto the terrace of a pizzeria, destroying several tables, chairs, and part of the protective fence. The two young women suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical care.

The police managed to catch the pursued driver, who was intoxicated. The authorities continue their investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident and the pursuit that preceded the incident.
