The Bucharest Court of Appeal will analyze on Tuesday the request to annul the decree appointing Dacian Dragoș as a judge at the Constitutional Court, filed by lawyer Silvia Uscov. She has also submitted a similar request for Mihai Busuioc, with a deadline of March 20.

Silvia Uscov contests the appointments, arguing that the two do not meet the requirement of 18 years of experience in the legal specialty. Babeș-Bolyai University defended Dacian Dragoș's status, emphasizing that he has over 20 years of teaching experience. President Nicușor Dan stated that, in the event of Dacian Dragoș's suspension, a new appointment will be made to avoid leaving the CCR without a judge. Dacian Dragoș stated that there are no grounds for his suspension and emphasized that the challenges are part of a political battle.
