In a statement in Parliament, Cătălin Predoiu emphasized the importance of combating domestic violence, announcing the creation of special units in the Police and the allocation of resources for the training of police officers. The minister highlighted the necessity of collaboration between institutions and effective prevention, mentioning that, although cases of violence have decreased, the problem remains serious. Predoiu stressed that we must make this fight a national cause and emphasized the importance of education and culture in preventing violence.
