USR MP Cătălin Drulă said that Elena Lasconi is still a member of the party, even though she resigned as party president after a poor election result. USR has decided to replace her with Nicușor Dan in the Cotroceni campaign. Drulă said that he does not know what Lasconi's plans are, but if she finds herself in USR and is supported by her colleagues, there would be no reason for her not to stay. He has also had few conversations with her recently. Lasconi was originally nominated to open the USR list for the Europarliamentary elections, but was forced to withdraw after voting for the referendum on the traditional family.
