Uscatu mentioned that she has not communicated with Gheorghiu since her appointment and is awaiting a response from her, expressing hope that the organization's interest will prevail. Several partners from the NGO have contacted her, fearing a possible conflict of interest due to Gheorghiu's dual role. In response, the deputy prime minister stated that she respects the law and that there are no grounds for withdrawal. Additionally, Oana Gheorghiu has been reported by the CSM for 'incitement to hatred or discrimination' following comments about the special pensions of magistrates, which sparked a debate about freedom of expression in politics.
