Uscatu emphasized that Gheorghiu has not withdrawn from the General Assembly of the NGO, which raises questions for sponsors and donors, some of whom are withdrawing due to potential conflicts of interest.

Carmen Uscatu mentioned that sponsorship contracts have been signed that stipulate the absence of government members in the organization. She also stated that she was not informed about Oana Gheorghiu's appointment to the government position, discovering the news just like the public, which took her by surprise. This situation has raised concerns among international sponsors, who do not wish to be perceived as influencing government policies through their contributions.
