Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan has proposed Oana Gheorghiu, co-founder of the 'Dăruiește Viață' Association, for the position of Deputy Prime Minister, following the resignation of Dragoș Anastasiu. The proposal has been sent to the Presidential Administration for the signing of the appointment decree.
Oana Gheorghiu, at the age of 56, is a graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and has extensive experience in developing medical infrastructure. She has coordinated the attraction of over 100 million euros through donations and sponsorships, achieving significant accomplishments, such as the construction of the Hospital for Children with cancer and other serious illnesses. The government emphasizes that her expertise will contribute to the necessary reforms to improve the functioning of the state for the benefit of citizens.
