Car production in Romania registered a 2.8% decrease in the first six months of 2025, totaling 284,216 units. Although the decrease is evident compared to 2024, June 2025 brought an increase of 15.2%, with 53,035 cars produced. Dacia plant contributed 27,968 units and Ford Otosan 25,067 units. Comparatively, in the same period in 2024, production was 292,378 units.
