A lawyer of Călin Georgescu was picked up and interviewed by police officers following a report of a meeting with a 15-year-old girl, and is being investigated for sexual relations with minors and violence. The authorities in Ștefăneștii de Jos intervened for checks and the lawyer was subsequently released. In the meantime, Călin Georgescu is under judicial control for promoting the cult of persons guilty of war crimes and has been remanded in custody.
