Călin Georgescu, a former presidential candidate, has been indicted on charges of legionary propaganda, according to the Public Prosecutor's Office of the High Court of Cassation and Justice. He is also under investigation for other offenses, including attempted overthrow of the constitutional order. Georgescu is accused of publicly promoting the cult of war criminals and fascist ideologies, stating pro-legionist ideas in interviews and online postings. The case will be heard by the Sector 1 District Court.
