Călin Georgescu: "There are forces from Western Europe that want my physical elimination"

Călin Georgescu stated in an interview that certain "forces from Western Europe" would like to eliminate him physically. In a discussion with Robert Turcescu, Georgescu emphasized his economic plan based on nationalization, asserting that all the country's resources should return to the ownership of the Romanian people. He proposed organizing a daily referendum to involve citizens in economic decisions. Georgescu also expressed concerns regarding the "dismantling" and "demilitarization" of Romania, insisting that the economy must serve the people.

He also referred to an assassination attempt similar to the one mentioned in the past by Liviu Dragnea, who suggested it might have been the work of external forces. Georgescu concluded the interview with a comparison between himself and the figure of Jesus.
