On Monday morning, a bus driver from Arad was stopped by the police during a student transport verification operation. The breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.30 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. The 49-year-old man was fined 1,825 lei and had his driving license suspended for 90 days. This is not the first similar incident, as another school minibus driver was caught drunk in Galați.
